If you ask guitarists for a company that excels in the growing world of digital music creation, you're likely to hear Line 6 more times than not. With its well known POD line of hardware, Line 6 has made itself into one of the goto companies for guitarists entering the digital age.

As any guitarist that wants to create music on their computer knows, hardware is only part of the equation. Unfortunately, Mac software has been completely forgotten or left to languish far too often by many companies.

However, Line 6 has been one company that has kept the versions of its software up to date on both the Mac and PC. When the company first launched with its GuitarPort software it was a Windows only product, but that soon changed.

“We all like Macs here — they are great creative tools," Marcus Ryle, Line 6 co-founder and senior vice president of Research and Development, told Macworld .

NEW YORK (AP) _ Roger Clemens beat Brian McNamee to court, filing a defamation suit against the former trainer who claimed to have injected him with performance-enhancing drugs.

Clemens filed the suit Sunday night in Harris County District Court in Texas, listing 15 alleged statements McNamee made to the baseball drug investigator George Mitchell. Clemens claimed the statement were "untrue and defamatory."

"According to McNamee, he originally made his allegations to federal authorities after being threatened with criminal prosecution if he didn't implicate Clemens," according to the 14-page petition, obtained early Monday by The Associated Press.

The suit, first reported by the Houston Chronicle, states that when McNamee told others that when he first was interviewed by federal law enforcement last June, he denied Clemens had used steroids or human growth hormone.

There will even be a new train station on the Lanark-Glasgow line and developers say up to 12,000 jobs will be created more than were employed at Ravenscraig.

Jim Fitzsimons, director of Ravenscraig Ltd, the company behind the redevelopment, said Ravenscraig represented 5% of Scotland's former industrial land.

He added: "It's a challenge and people from all over the world are looking at how we are regenerating it.

"People worldwide are visiting and contacting us and it's seen as a bit of a model on how to do it well.

"It can be something Scotland is proud of - Ravenscraig was heroic in its day but it has now gone and we have to look to the future."

Mr Fitzsimons said it was a relief the work was starting after a long period when decontamination, drainage and pipe-laying work was necessary.

In the days leading up to the Iowa caucus, for example, talk radio host Rush Limbaugh broke his vow to remain neutral during the GOP primaries. Responding to a caller on his Thursday program, Limbaugh said he loved Huckabee supporters but "how dare you compare Mike Huckabee to Ronald Reagan? That is simply intellectually vapid and it's grasping at straws."

"Ronald Reagan came in and said, 'I'm going to cut taxes. I'm going to defeat the Soviets. We're going to win the Cold War and I'm going to rebuild the U.S. military," said Limbaugh. "Mike Huckabee has come in and said, 'Well, yeah, I raised taxes, but I had to, but I support this Fair Tax thing,' which doesn't stand a chance."

Limbaugh isn't the only conservative commentator to criticize Huckabee's brand of conservatism.
